What does the face look like with a diseased liver?

Due to the violation of metabolic processes in the body, the facial skin becomes most often oily, rashes, pimples, pigment spots of different sizes and shades (from light brown to black) appear. The face becomes pale, the skin ages sharply, covered with wrinkles.

What is the most dangerous product for the liver?

The most harmful combination of foods for the liver is animal fats and sugar. When we eat fatty pork and drink it with sweet sodas, we hit the liver hard. If you add alcohol to this combination of foods, the result is cirrhosis and liver cancer.

How does liver function affect the gut?

The liver secretes primary bile acids (BAs) and antimicrobial molecules (immunoglobulin A (IgA) and angiogenin) into the biliary tract. The molecules reach the intestinal lumen and help maintain gut eubiosis (by suppressing excessive bacterial growth in the gut).
